Our Story
From fresh-baked manakish at 7 in the morning to chicken shawarma at 1 am, Restaurant Shawarma Station has fed Ottawa around the clock since 2003. Located at Bank Street and Hunt Club, we open earlier and close later than almost any shawarma restaurant in the city — because great Lebanese food shouldn't keep business hours. Mornings start at our stone oven, where we bake cheese pies, zaatar manakish, and meat pies fresh in front of you — the Arabic breakfast our regulars call the best in Ottawa. By lunch, the vertical rotisserie takes over: chicken and beef marinated for hours in Middle Eastern spices, charcoal-grilled kabobs, family trays for every group size, and the garlic sauce that made us famous.
